Terms of Service

Rima's Note

By commissioning me, or by purchasing one of my designs, you acknowledge that you have both read and agree to these terms. Failure to comply with these terms may result in a warning, blacklisting, and/or legal action.

I may alter, add to, and/or remove the following terms at any time, without notice.

Payment and Refunds

1. You must be at least 18 years old or of legal age in your country and use your own PayPal and bank account for USD Commissions.

2. Half or Full Payment is required within 48 hours to be sent before I begin working on your commission. I will invoice you. Do not send money until I have invoiced you.

3. Commissioned art I provide you with cannot be used for commercial (for-profit) purposes without my consent.

4. If you or I cancel the commission I will provide a refund if payment was already sent, however how much of one will depend on how far I am in the process of completing your commission. You are paying for my time spent working when you commission me.

5. Refunds may not be requested after the final product is completed. This includes issuing a charge-back after receiving the final product.

6. I will not do business with people who are:
A) Underage.

B) Banned/Suspended off social platforms. Or ban evaders/account hopping.

C) Have extremely new accounts.

Chibis (Anime and Furries)
Original Characters
Portraits (drawn in my style)
Anime
Fan Art Characters
Game Avatar Characters and Personal Custom Avatars (such as, IMVU, Zepeto, Gaia Online, MMORPGs, etc...)
Kemonomimi (Animal ears and tails, etc.)
Any gender
Furries (any species)
NSWF (Nudity and certain fetishes ONLY) - costs 50% extra of the commission price
Sexy Outfits
Wings
Simple Backgrounds
Simple Poses
Extra Characters (1-2 Only)

Will NOT Do:

Gore (blood/mild gore is okay)
Extreme violence or vore
Super Detailed Designs (complex patterns)
Complex Poses (Bending, Body Parts all over the place, etc.)
Buff People (Serious Muscles)
Old People
Over-sized People
Robots (Mecha)
Politicians
Celebrities (Ask me first)
Infantilism (diapers, etc.)

Art Turnaround

1. Most commissions will take me up to 7 days, at the latest 3 weeks to complete.

2. If I don't start on your commission after a month and you have payed or you want a refund then I will fully refund it.

Non-Accepted Commissions

1. I may refuse illustrations or custom design commissions that are based on intellectual property not belonging to the client (you), such as fan created characters, on a case by case basis.

2. I will not create artwork or characters that are intended to insult or harm any individual or group of people.

3. Your commission request may be rejected due to:

A) Something was filled out incorrectly or missing important details. Please use the form appropriately and resubmit.
B) It has been declined and won't be accepted.

Workflow Related

1. Your wait time starts when your invoice has been completely paid off.

2. WIP/Previews: You will be given a preview sketch before continuing to the lineart/inking stage, during this time, please make sure that looks it the way you want it.

3. If you want to check in on your commission/queue slot, send me a DM addressing it first.

4. Please check the Trello link at the top right of the page to see my current work amount. You may ask for updates to your commission’s status at any time.

4. Finished images will be provided at least 500-2000 px wide at 300 DPI in PNG format. Exact pixel sizes for print or desktop/phone wallpapers can be requested for no additional fee. Commissions can be private for no extra cost, please let me know.

Copyright and Crediting

1. Unless previously discussed, I retain the right to show the commissioned art and the other sites I use in order to advertise my work.

2. You may re-post/use any image(s), I have made for you, however clear credit must be given. You may not use the images commercially unless previously discussed.

3. You may not remove any and all signatures that I use in the illustration(s).

4. If you order a line-art from me, you may color it yourself, however you must credit me for the lines.

5. Custom characters/Logos are owned solely by the commissioner and may be used commercially unless otherwise specified in their descriptions. Credit to @maidorihime as the designer would be appreciated but not necessary in most cases, however you may not claim you or another person designed them unless you or they edit the design so that it doesn't resemble the design I created.

Reselling and Trading

For Outfits:

1. Don't claim that you made the original design or copy/trace my design

2. You can resell, trade, and gift it but ONLY resell it for the price you bought it for or less!

3. The color palette can be changed!

4. You're free to modify the outfit's design on the file I send you after receiving payment

5. Auction ends 48 hours after the last bid

6. Payment should be made within 48 hours after claiming

7. If the payment is not received, the adopt goes to the second highest bidder (or it goes back up for sale)

7. Credit me @maidorihime when you use the original file

Adoptable Designs (T.O.S.):

1. Only the owner of the adopt (who bought it) is allowed to use it for personal use!

2. Ask me if you want the design for commercial use.

3. Please do NOT post on Facebook, Instagram or Anywhere, unless you are the owner.

4. Please comment if you'd like to get any of these!

5. I only accept payment Through Paypal

6. I will send you an invoice with your Paypal email

7. Be serious about claiming a bid
8. Don't edit/hide/delete your comment for whatever reason (can lead to ban/blacklist on my future auctions and adoptables)

Jewelry & Accessories

1. I will only take payments through Paypal and invoicing for jewelry and accessories that are listed on my Instagram. Otherwise, you can purchase them through my Etsy or Depop, if I list them there.

2. NO refunds are allowed after I ship the item.

3. Shipping costs may apply.

Estimates around $5 USD for Domestic ; $15 USD for International.

Other Details to Note

Regular commissioners get 10% off on their commission. Patrons get 5-25% off depending on their tier. Yes, both can apply.

Casual chitchat/indirect DMs are OK, but keep them to a minimum. Maybe a few words, phrases, or sentences more or less.

Do NOT rush me to get a commission done, unless you have specified a due date.

Do NOT commission me if you're not willing to wait.

If you commission an Underage character, then they are ALWAYS SFW regardless.

Likewise, Artistic Freedom means ARTISTIC FREEDOM.

If I'm given this, you give me FULL responsibility on the commission aside from character design. It also means that you don't get much say in composition or theme.

If I cannot accept your commission, please do not take it to heart - some characters & concept ideas I’m not capable of doing at this time because of my skill level.

If you have another character or idea, you’re free to re-submit another form with their reference or ask me directly to choose from your characters.
